Real Experiences

I've known Coach D for many years and he's a really great guy. He loves kids, he likes to see them succeed in everything they do. I've seen his relationship with his daughter, training and parenting her, she is a very respectful young lady and a great athlete. His effort does not go unnoticed, he moves to build strong athletes and strong character for all kids. If you want your child to succeed on any level in sports, especially track and field please consider Coach D. With all the hard work that he puts in with your child they will succeed to the next level!!

Coach D is all about the kids and children gravitate to him naturally. He served as a mentor for my son, Jacob, during his first year of youth football. Jacob started on the O-line but Coach D saw potential & encouraged him to step out of his comfort zone. Jacob would come home and say "if you get a compliment from Coach D that REALLY means something cuz he KNOWS what he's talking about!"

Jacob dropped close to 20lbs to be eligible to play with tips from Coach D and he went from never playing a game of football to being a starter on the D-line.

Jacob will be training with Coach D during the off season to improve his speed, endurance and agility... all major factors in being a better athlete on the field.

Central Coast Cheetahs was a great experience for Sky. Coach D and the team were welcoming and supportive while showing him the fundamentals on how to use his speed and not be afraid to push himself!

My family and I met Coach D during football season a little over 6 years ago.  He was part of the North County Bulldogs coaching staff for my son Corbin's team.  During that time my son formed a bond with Coach D.  We would always see Coach D taking the time between plays to go over things with Corbin.  With the extra attention given by Coach D, Corbin thrived in football.  When track season came along, we met up with Coach D again because his daughter Clara and Corbin both ran for The Marina Track Club.  After seeing the talent that Clara and Corbin had on the track, Coach D realized that they needed more.  That's when he decided to put in the work to start his own club, The Central Coast Cheetahs, as well as Cheetah Athletics.  During our time with the Central Coast Cheetahs, Coach D has helped Corbin develop into the elite sprinter that he is today.  Coach D always made sure that Clara and Corbin got the top notch training, experience, and exposure that would eventually earn them both a spot in the AAU Junior Olympics.  Coach D and Clara have become family to us.  We are so thankful and blessed to have Coach D in our lives.  If it were not for our move to Oklahoma, Corbin would still be running for The Central Coast Cheetahs.
